About the WSTC
Our goal is to provide an environment to meet other skiers, organize trips that allow us to ski with others, and offer training to enhance our skills.
Established in the 1970's and continuing to grow, the Washington Ski Touring Club established by-laws in April 1990. The by-laws include board officer descriptions, all of which are volunteer.
Our club meets on a monthly basis for a program presentation and socializing. The evening also includes a trip presentation, where we learn about upcoming trips organized by the club, and have the opportunity to sign up for the trips and meet the trip coordinators. Past programs have included technical programs presented by current members and visiting speakers, presentations by authors, sports physiologists, meteorologists, and wax manufacturers.
Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at the downtown Seattle REI, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
