Submitting a Proposal for Conservation & Philanthropic Funds

Background

The WSTC maintains a Conservation & Philanthropic Fund to
"be used as contributions to and for conservation or environmental organizations as well as organizations that create and maintain trails, promote skiing through education, or in some other ways  promote the interests of the WSTC."

Who May Submit a Proposal

An organization requesting funds should submit its proposal to a current WSTC member. WSTC members themselves may know of a worthy project and may encourage and assist the organization that would perform the project in writing a proposal.

Proposal Review and Notification Process

Proposals are due 30 days prior to the Board's January meeting. Funding decisions will be made at the Board's January meeting. Decisions on proposals received after this time may be made at other times during the year at the Board's discretion. Applicants will be notified shortly after a decision is reached. Funds will be disbursed upon receipt of invoices, receipts, or other acceptable documentation approved by the President or Treasurer consistent with WSTC policies and procedures.
