Ascent Outdoors Ski Shop is holding a Nordic Night on Thursday, December 4, and we are going to have our December meeting there.
Ascent Outdoors Nordic Night is an opportunity for people to meet & greet with outdoor clubs like WSTC and to get expert advice from their brand reps.
They plan to start off the evening with a short presentation by Brian Schiller of Fischer on some of the basics of Nordic skiing followed by Tom Echelberger (Momentum NW) presenting on places to cross country ski in the Northwest. After that, there will be time for ski clubs to introduce ourselves to the public.
After the presentations, they will be doing a raffle of Nordic gear to wrap up the evening, although you are free to continue to browse, socialize and enjoy beer provided by the Hemlock State Brewing Company.
